Pine Hill Landscaping can install additional plants into existing landscapes, add seasonal color when needed, replace failing products from other projects or design and install entirely new landscape plantings.
When creating a drought tolerant landscape, most clients prefer a natural looking ‘roughscape’ that gives the appearance of a lush native woodland and/or flower filled meadow. Most native plants need very little upkeep and prefer to attain their natural size and shape in the garden. It takes a native plant expert to know what these plants require and how they will perform over time.
Sometimes shrubs in natural plantings are spaced to allow for their growth potential, minimize water demands and show off the mulches, boulders or wildflowers surrounding them. In other cases, shrubs and trees may be deliberately crowded together to create fullness while waiting for a slow grower to ‘do its thing.’ It also takes experience to know which plants can coexist on the same sprinkler system with other plants and which species flower during each season.
You may be surprised to learn that a properly installed desert garden can become a zero maintenance and sprinkler-free showplace that includes graceful palo verde trees, flowering sages, fuscias, desert mallows, woolly blue curls and penstemons, magnificent blue agaves and yuccas and, of course, cactus.
In addition to these natural plantings, Pine Hill can also design themed gardens to match any taste. California native and other drought tolerant plants can be used to create formal looking English-style gardens, beautiful butterfly gardens, hummingbird habitats, aroma gardens, and pond gardens.
Plants installed by Pine Hill Landscaping are guaranteed for 30 to 90 days from installation (season dependant) and all projects include a free 90 day garden maintenance service agreement.
